Since its debut in 2016, the Bugatti Chiron has been an icon of hyper sports car performance, limited to just 500 units.
The final Chiron, a masterpiece named ‘L’Ultime,’ has been hand-assembled by the craftspeople in Molsheim, closing an extraordinary era.
The Chiron was the first roadgoing car to reach 1,500 PS and the first production car to surpass 300 mph, and its production ends with the same elegance and power with which it began.

This last Chiron, a Super Sport, reinterprets the model that captivated the world in Geneva eight years ago. The color scheme, a blend of ‘Atlantic Blue’ and ‘French Racing Blue,’ intersected by a C-line of hand-polished aluminum alloy, has been reimagined by the Bugatti Sur Mesure team. The final design features a mesmerizing interplay of fading colors and a tribute to the Chiron’s journey since 2016.
The special Super Sport sports a bespoke blue Bugatti macaron on the grille and hand-written names of places and events that highlight the Chiron’s legacy.
The creation of this final Chiron was a collaborative effort between the Sur Mesure team and a customer, resulting in a car that honors the milestones of the Chiron and celebrates Bugatti’s history. The Super Sport’s aesthetic form embodies the philosophy of ‘bullet speed,’ symbolizing its top speed even at a standstill.
Since its debut as the most powerful, fastest, and luxurious car in the world, the Chiron has remained at the pinnacle of automotive craftsmanship and performance. It has set new benchmarks and redefined automotive norms across its various iterations, including the Chiron Sport, Chiron Pur Sport, and special editions like the Chiron Super Sport 300+ and Les Légendes du Ciel.
The legacy of the Chiron is celebrated on the sides of this unique Super Sport with references to significant events like its Geneva launch, appearances at Chantilly, and the 300 mph run at Ehra-Lessien. The car also pays homage to Bugatti’s historic home in Molsheim and iconic locations like Château Saint Jean and Cape Canaveral.
The final Chiron is adorned with the number ‘500’ on its exterior, wheel caps, rear wing, and engraved onto the engine cover, housing the magnificent Bugatti W16 powertrain. This marks another milestone in Bugatti’s 115-year history, with 500 masterpieces inspired by Ettore Bugatti’s vision to be enjoyed for generations.
The craftsmanship of the Super Sport is exemplified by the French flag on the mirror wings and the ‘Atlantic Blue’ grille with a special horseshoe mesh. Inside, the Chiron’s cabin matches the bespoke nature of its exterior, featuring a carbon fiber symphony and luxurious ‘Deep Blue’ leather and ‘Blue Carbon Matt’ finishes.
“The Bugatti brand is built on performance, craftsmanship, sophistication, and elegance,” said Christophe Piochon, President of Bugatti Automobiles. “This final Chiron Super Sport captures the defining legacy of the Chiron family and paves the way for a new chapter, starting with the Bolide and the W16 Mistral and continuing with our new model in June.”
With the Chiron Super Sport, Bugatti reaffirms its position at the pinnacle of automotive excellence, ready to begin a new era of unmatched performance, luxury, and craftsmanship.
