In a bold move that mirrors the cosmopolitan spirit of Berlin, Bugatti has unveiled its new Design Studio—an architectural and creative landmark in the heart of the German capital.
Housed within a striking 1,100 square-meter industrial structure that dates back to the 1920s, this historic building once powered Berlin’s metro and later pulsed with electronic music as a techno club in the ’90s. Now, it serves a new purpose: to be the birthplace of the next generation of Bugatti design.
This revitalized space blends deep historical character with advanced modern technology, offering a fitting environment for the brand’s globally sourced design team, which includes experts from 22 nations.

The original ceramic tilework, wrought-iron staircases, and soaring industrial architecture now coexist with immersive VR tools and digital rendering systems that allow designers to sculpt hypercars in virtual space with astonishing precision.
The studio is more than a workspace—it’s a living canvas for Bugatti’s vision. Traditional design techniques are respected and integrated, from hand-drawn sketches to tactile material samples used in bespoke customer commissions.

Every element is curated to foster creativity and collaboration, enabling designers to experiment and innovate while honoring the brand’s storied legacy.
Customers are invited to step into this immersive world, engaging directly with Bugatti artisans to shape their vehicle’s design down to the finest detail.

From subtle color accents to rare interior materials, clients are guided through a process that feels as personal as it is exclusive. Life-size mock-ups of the final vehicle design give clients a full preview of their creation, bringing their vision to life in a truly experiential setting.
The space itself is dynamic and adaptive, capable of transforming into an open venue for events or collaborative showcases with adjustable lighting and mobile workstations.
As Bugatti moves into a new design era, beginning with the Tourbillon hypercar, the Berlin studio stands as a symbol of the brand’s evolution—where heritage, innovation, and world-class craftsmanship converge.
