The Bugatti Bolide¹, a modern track-only marvel from Molsheim, has already delivered its first unforgettable experience. While most owners eagerly await Bugatti’s exclusive 2025 track sessions, one passionate U.S.
customer couldn’t resist taking his Bolide straight to the Circuit of the Americas (COTA). In a thrilling personal debut, he pushed the car’s capabilities on the renowned 5.513-km Formula One circuit, giving himself the ultimate Christmas gift.

Before the car hit the track, Bugatti’s expert team ensured the owner was thoroughly prepared with a comprehensive static handover and technical briefing. COTA’s 20 demanding corners set the stage for what was to come: two warm-up laps to familiarize himself with the Bolide, followed by meticulous checks in the pits to optimize tire pressures and oil levels.
Once ready, the Bolide delivered an electrifying performance over 12 hot laps, even as rain heightened the challenge. The driver reached a top speed of 333 km/h, experiencing firsthand the Bolide’s precision, power, and agility.
Reflecting on the experience, the owner shared:
“The Bolide is incredibly easy to handle once trained, and its performance is completely manageable. But the sheer power when accelerating out of a corner is incomparable. Despite the rain, it was an unforgettable day, and I’m already planning another session in February.”
Finished in French Racing Blue with Nocturne Black Carbon accents, the customer’s Bolide is a nod to Bugatti’s illustrious motorsport history, inspired by icons like the legendary Type 35.
From its carbon fenders to a bespoke red tail hook, every element underscores its track-focused DNA. Inside, French Racing Blue and Beluga Black Alcantara harmonize with polished aluminum, while a custom track plate, inscribed ‘Équipe Curtis,’ pays homage to Ettore Bugatti’s famed racing team.
The Bolide’s debut at COTA showcases its ability to transform every drive into an extraordinary journey, reaffirming Bugatti’s commitment to delivering unparalleled engineering and emotion to its drivers.
