Since 1983, the Bridgestone Winter Driving School has been the world’s longest continuously running winter driver education program.
In 2025, the school is enhancing its performance classes with an exclusive fleet of Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) vehicles, including the turbocharged GR Supra, the GR86 with its boxer engine, and the all-wheel-drive GR Corolla.
Available in one- or two-day experiences, participants will get expert guidance as they drive these performance-oriented vehicles equipped with Bridgestone Blizzak tires on snow and ice-covered tracks in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

While Toyota has been the sole presenting manufacturer for the school since 2001, 2024 marks the first year that its GR sports cars will be used exclusively in the performance classes, delivering on Akio Toyoda’s mission to build thrilling, high-performance vehicles.
The school’s traditional safety programs will continue using current all-wheel-drive Camrys, Highlanders, and 4Runners. The school’s top-tier coaching methods have trained nearly 100,000 drivers to become more confident in low-traction conditions.
The new “Fastest Ride on Ice featuring TOYOTA GAZOO Racing” adds an exhilarating twist to the school’s curriculum, offering drivers the chance to test manual and automatic GR vehicles on the ice and snow.
