BMW Welt is set to conclude 2024 with a series of standout events and innovative updates before temporarily closing for refurbishment in January 2025. Guests can look forward to concerts, award ceremonies, and new interactive exhibits, ensuring a memorable close to the year.
“We’re excited to inspire and delight our guests with a varied program until the end of the year, alongside exciting developments in 2025,” said Sandra Wittemer, Head of BMW Welt.

Among the highlights is a new digital vehicle consultation service, allowing customers to configure their dream BMWs from home via the Emotional Virtual Experience (EVE). Interactive fun awaits younger visitors too, with “Multiball” in BMW Welt’s educational space, transforming a wall into a gaming surface for sports like tennis or football.
A packed event calendar includes the Bavarian Sports Award on 12 October, celebrating athletic achievements, and the “Blauer Panther – TV & Streaming Award” on 23 October, honoring stars of German television.
On 25 October, a benefit concert will raise funds for children with disabilities, followed by a thrilling crime fiction reading by Claire Douglas on 9 November as part of the International Crime Festival.
Rounding off the year, Candlelight Concerts in November and December promise magical musical evenings.
BMW Welt will temporarily close on 7 January 2025 for five weeks to undergo structural renovations aimed at enhancing the visitor experience, with a grand reopening planned for 10 February 2025.
