BMW M GmbH is advancing its high-performance lineup and embracing electrification with the introduction of the all-new BMW M5 Touring. This hybrid powerhouse combines the dynamic driving experience expected of an M model with the practicality of a touring vehicle, making it ideal for everyday use and long-distance travel.
The new M5 Touring, which features an M HYBRID drive system, delivers a formidable 727 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque, blending a high-revving V8 engine with an electric motor for unparalleled performance.
Set to make its world debut at Monterey Car Week in August 2024, the M5 Touring will enter production at BMW’s Dingolfing plant, with a market launch slated for November 2024. Key markets include Germany, the USA, and the UK.

The exterior of the new BMW M5 Touring reflects its high-performance nature, with athletic design elements like flared wheel arches, a long roofline, and a sculptural front end with a newly designed kidney grille. The hybrid system allows for electric driving in urban areas and contributes to the car’s remarkable acceleration—0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.
Inside, the M5 Touring offers a luxurious and tech-forward experience, featuring M-specific displays, a BMW Curved Display, and an expansive cargo area that can be increased to 1,630 liters. Advanced driver assistance systems and the latest BMW iDrive ensure both safety and convenience, while options like a panoramic glass sunroof and a Bowers & Wilkins sound system add to the premium feel.
