BMW will captivate enthusiasts at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed with the world premiere of the new BMW X3, the UK debut of the BMW M4 CS, and other significant showcases.

BMW is set to dazzle automotive enthusiasts at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed with the world premiere of the new BMW X3 and another significant debut from the BMW Group. The festival, running from July 11 to 14, will also mark the UK debut of the new BMW M4 CS.

The new BMW X3 M50 xDrive, representing the fourth generation of the popular Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV), will be a highlight. Boasting a powerful 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo engine with 48V mild hybrid technology, it delivers 398 hp, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds. This launch continues the X3’s legacy, which began over two decades ago.

Joining the new X3 on the hill will be the high-performance BMW M4 CS, equipped with a 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo engine producing 550 hp. It promises a thrilling drive with a 0 to 62 mph time of just 3.4 seconds.

BMW’s presence at Goodwood is further enhanced by the participation of the BMW M Hybrid V8, fresh from its return to the top category at Le Mans. The hybrid hypercar will be joined by historic racing icons like the BMW V12 LMR, celebrating its 25th anniversary since winning Le Mans, and the BMW 318i touring car driven by Johnny Cecotto. Additionally, the BMW R20 concept bike will demonstrate BMW Motorrad’s cutting-edge design.

Visitors to the Stable Yard will find an array of innovative BMW vehicles, including the Vision Neue Klasse, Concept Skytop, and the i5 Flow NOSTOKANA. These models highlight BMW’s commitment to luxury, technology, and artistic expression. The Neue Klasse, in particular, showcases the brand’s future lineup.

The festival will also feature the BMW M Hybrid V8 LMDh and the 20th BMW Art Car designed by artist Julie Mehretu, adding a blend of art and automotive excellence to the event. BMW Motorrad will present the R20 concept bike and the classic R255/1 Compressor.
