BMW Motorrad has introduced the 2025 lineup of its R 18 cruiser family, blending classic design with modern technology and performance upgrades.
The updates span across the R 18, R 18 Classic, R 18 Roctane, R 18 B, and R 18 Transcontinental models, highlighting enhanced torque, design refinements, and new customization options.
The 1,802cc Big Boxer engine now delivers 163 Nm of torque, complying with Euro 5+ standards. A reworked engine control system ensures smooth power delivery, offering superior performance between 2,000 and 4,000 rpm.

The R 18 features a more dynamic look with new 18-inch rear wheels, redesigned mudguards, and a sculpted fuel tank. Comfort is enhanced with thicker seat padding, improved suspension, and standard features like daytime running lights and a USB-C charging socket.
The R 18 Classic retains its nostalgic touring appeal with a 19-inch front spoke wheel, refined mudguards, and Blacked Out or Option 719 trims for tailored aesthetics.
The R 18 Roctane adds the bold Two-Tone Dragonfire Red Metallic color and new Dark Chrome details. The R 18 B and R 18 Transcontinental models now feature a favorites button for easy access to key functions and a Comfort Package with heated grips, lockable fuel caps, and central locking.
Across the range, optional features like Contrast Cut wheels, custom handlebars, and enhanced accessories provide ample customization. With these updates, the R 18 series continues to celebrate BMW Motorrad’s heritage while embracing modern technology.
