BMW M Motorsport has revealed plans to develop a new entry-level racing car, set to debut in the 2026 season.
This vehicle will continue the brand’s tradition of offering affordable yet sophisticated models for grassroots racing, providing an ideal platform for teams and newcomers to advance toward the higher GT4 and GT3 classes.

Björn Lellmann, Head of Customer Racing at BMW M Motorsport, emphasized the company’s commitment to customer accessibility, highlighting the importance of delivering a car that balances affordability with cutting-edge BMW M Motorsport technology. “Our engineers are already working intensively at this early stage of development to optimally prepare the car for customer use,” Lellmann stated.
