BMW is set to introduce an exclusive long-wheelbase version of the X3 in China, tailored for the country’s premium midsize SAV market.
The new model, developed and produced locally, arrives in dealerships this month and offers enhanced space, comfort, and two powerful engine options.
The X3 xDrive 25L Luxury features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine delivering 190 hp and 310 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in 8.7 seconds.

The more dynamic X3 xDrive 30L, available in Pioneering MSP and Exclusive MSP trims, produces 258 hp and 400 Nm, sprinting to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.
With a 111 mm longer wheelbase than the standard model, the new X3 provides improved stability and a spacious interior. Rear passengers benefit from an additional 96 mm of kneeroom, while overall vehicle dimensions make it the largest in its segment.
Exclusive features include BMW iDrive with Operating System 9, BMW Digital Premium services, and BMW Iconic Glow contour lighting for the kidney grille. Five metallic paint options, including a striking Frozen variant, enhance its premium appeal.
Built at BMW’s Plant Lydia in Shenyang, the locally produced X3 optimizes logistics, reduces emissions, and aligns with BMW’s sustainability goals while maintaining the predecessor’s pricing.
