BMW Group delivered over 586,000 vehicles in Q1 2025, with BEV sales up 32.4% and strong growth in Europe and the US, despite weaker demand in China.

BMW Group delivered 586,149 vehicles globally in Q1 2025, down just 1.4% year-on-year despite soft demand in China. Sales rose in Europe (+6.2%) and the US (+4.0%), with markets outside China growing by 5.9%.

Battery-electric vehicle (BEV) deliveries surged 32.4% to 109,516 units, led by strong gains in Europe (+64.2%).

Electrified models, including plug-in hybrids, totaled 157,495 vehicles (+28.5%). The MINI brand saw a BEV share of 35.3%, with one in two MINIs sold in China being fully electric.

BMW brand sales reached 520,142 units (-2.0%), with BEV sales up 9.9% to 86,449. M GmbH grew 5.0%, selling 50,494 vehicles, fueled by high demand for the M3 and M5. MINI sales rose 4.1% to 64,626 units. Rolls-Royce and BMW Motorrad posted declines of 9.4% and 3.9%, respectively.

BMW remains on track to hit major milestones in 2025, including three million electrified vehicles and 1.5 million BEVs delivered since launching the BMW i3 and i8. Sales momentum was driven by new MINI models and strong order books, especially in Germany.

The BMW Group, with its brands BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce and BMW Motorrad, operates in over 140 countries and maintains more than 30 production sites globally. In 2024, the company reported €11 billion in pre-tax profits on €142.4 billion in revenue.
