If you’ve ever dreamed of a real-life version of the iconic Need for Speed M3 GTR – you’re in luck.
Created to celebrate the game’s 30th anniversary, the BMW from Need for Speed: Most Wanted is now more than just pixels on a screen.
The car was made famous in the 2005 instalment of the video game series when it kicked off the action before it was taken by Razor.

Made from carbon and aluminium, the car has a powerful P60B40 V8 engine with a max output of approximately 450 hp.
The racer also has an interesting history and is a revamped version of the #42 Team BMW Motorsport E46 M3 GTR, which won the ALMS GT Series back in 2001.
Senior creative director John Stanley said: “The M3 GTR model is one of the most recognisable cars in the history of Need for Speed, so for the 30th anniversary we wanted to do something special.”
The real-life version of the blue and silver car can be viewed at the BMW Welt exhibition centre in Munich, Germany, from November 27 until January 6.
Its creation also celebrates the latest instalment in the Need for Speed series, which has been going since 1994, Vol. 9: Prepare For Lockdown.
But don’t not let the name put you off.
It has nothing to do with the pandemic and is instead a reference to the game’s new multiplayer mode.
It sees players challenged to loot cars from locked-down areas of the fictional city of Lakeshore after the police take extreme action against the street racing community.
