The BMW Art Car World Tour kicks off in Europe and Asia, with Warhol, Lichtenstein, Hockney, and Koons’ designs exhibited in Vienna (March 20-21), while Mehretu’s BMW M Hybrid V8 debuts at Art Basel Hong Kong (March 28-30) before traveling to Africa and beyond.

The BMW Museum in Munich will also feature Art Cars alongside the BMW 3 Series’ 50th anniversary starting June 16.

The anniversary includes a new Art Car book, a collectible model of Mehretu’s car, and a Puma fashion line. BMW’s Art Car legacy began at Le Mans in 1975 with Alexander Calder’s design, evolving into a dynamic intersection of art and engineering.
The tour continues through 2026, with stops across North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
