Bentley Opens State-of-the-Art Excellence Centre for Quality & Launch in Crewe
Bentley Motors has officially inaugurated its Excellence Centre for Quality & Launch at its Crewe headquarters, marking a major milestone in the brand’s transition to an electrified future.
The facility will play a key role in the development of Bentley’s first Battery-Powered Electric Vehicle (BEV), set to launch in 2026 as part of the company’s ambitious Beyond100+ strategy.

A New Era of Electrification & Quality
Spanning 8,000 sqm across two floors, the Excellence Centre is equipped with:
- A BEV assembly proving ground and mini assembly line to refine production processes
- A technical centre for advanced materials testing, high-precision dimensional measurement, and vehicle analysis
- A dedicated reliability lab to uphold Bentley’s legendary quality and craftsmanship
