Crewe, 25 June 2024—Bentley Motors proudly introduces the fourth generation Continental GT Speed, continuing its 21-year legacy of combining supercar performance with handcrafted luxury and everyday usability.
The latest Continental GT Speed features an all-new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain, delivering 782 PS and 1,000 Nm from a 4.0-litre V8 engine paired with a 190 PS electric motor. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds, boasting an electric-only range of 50 miles (81 km) and a total range of 534 miles (859 km).
The redesigned chassis system includes new two-chamber air springs, dual-valve dampers, Bentley Dynamic Ride, eLSD, and torque vectoring, providing exceptional body control and the best ride comfort in the model’s history. The car’s 49:51 rear-biased weight distribution enhances its dynamic capabilities.

Exterior and Interior Redesign
Inspired by the coachbuilt Bentley Bacalar and Batur, the new Continental GT Speed showcases a comprehensive exterior and interior redesign. The front features a single headlamp design, a first since the 1950s, enhancing its modern aesthetic. The new 400-volt electrical architecture supports the most advanced powertrain technology in a luxury vehicle, achieving CO2 emissions of 29 g/km and an electric range of 50 miles (81 km) on the WLTP cycle. Both coupe and convertible models will be handcrafted at Bentley’s Dream Factory in Crewe, with production starting in Q3.
Ultra Performance Hybrid
The Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain combines a 600 PS V8 engine with a 190 PS electric motor, resulting in a total system output of 782 PS. This powertrain enables a 0-60 mph time of 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h). The new powertrain offers improved power and torque across the rev range, with significant reductions in CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
Performance Active Chassis
The new Continental GT Speed and GTC Speed feature the Bentley Performance Active Chassis, including active all-wheel drive, eLSD, all-wheel steering, torque vectoring, Bentley Dynamic Ride, and a new ESC control software. Convertible GTC Speed
For the first time, Bentley launches the convertible Continental GTC Speed alongside the coupe. The convertible features a seven-bow fabric roof system, available in seven colors, and deployable at speeds up to 30 mph (48 km/h). The GTC Speed offers a 0-60 mph time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 177 mph (285 km/h).
Underwater Speed Record
Bentley set an unofficial speed record by running the new Continental GT Speed through the Ryfylke Tunnel in Norway, the world’s longest subsea road tunnel. The car achieved its top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h) in just 33 seconds, showcasing its remarkable performance capabilities.
