Adding to the spectacle, Bentley unveiled its fully restored 1961 S2 Drophead Coupe, marking the first time the marque has entered a vehicle into the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. This rare model, one of just 15 produced by Mulliner in the 1960s, underwent a two-year restoration as part of Bentley’s Heritage Collection rejuvenation. The car, now finished in Ming Blue with a meticulously restored interior, highlights Bentley’s dedication to preserving its historic models.

Monterey Car Week also saw the first road use of the Speed Six Continuation Series, a faithful recreation of the 1930 Le Mans-winning Speed Six, crafted using original materials and techniques. This project by Mulliner’s Classic division continues Bentley’s tradition of excellence in both performance and craftsmanship.

Bentley’s presence at the event was one of the most extensive, with nearly 90 vehicles displayed and over 3,000 guests hosted. The marque’s activities included the introduction of the Bentayga S Black Edition and a significant announcement about funding a U.S. kelp forest restoration project through the Bentley Environmental Foundation.

Bentley’s participation in Monterey Car Week culminated with VIP gatherings, including the Signature Party and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, where the restored S2 Drophead and a new Continental GTC Speed were centerpieces, further cementing Bentley’s stature as a leader in luxury and heritage.
