Bentley has announced the upcoming launch of its most powerful model yet, the fourth-generation Continental GT Speed, set for 16:00 BST on Tuesday, 25 June 2024.
This launch will mark a milestone in Bentley’s journey towards sustainable luxury mobility, featuring the debut of the Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain.
This powerhouse combines a potent 782 PS engine and 1,000 Nm of torque with an electric-only range of 50 miles (80 km), and a remarkably low WLTP CO2 figure of under 50 g/km.

This latest Continental GT Speed is not just the most powerful Bentley ever; it’s also the company’s first “everyday supercar” in its segment. The car integrates the latest in chassis technology, including active all-wheel drive with torque vectoring, four-wheel steering, an electronic Limited Slip Differential, 48V electric active anti-roll control, and advanced dual-valve dampers.
These features promise unparalleled dynamic performance while maintaining Bentley’s hallmark handcrafted luxury and superior materials.
A testament to its performance, the new Continental GT Speed recently achieved an unofficial “underwater speed record,” reaching its top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h) in Norway’s Ryfylke Tunnel, the world’s longest and deepest subsea road tunnel. A film documenting this remarkable feat will be released at the launch.
The Continental GT, first unveiled in 2002, revitalized Bentley, driving a tenfold increase in sales and redefining the brand. The second generation, introduced in 2010 with a W12 engine and later a 4.0-liter V8, continued this legacy. The third generation, launched in 2018, set a new standard in the luxury GT sector with a new platform, engine, suspension, electrical architecture, and cutting-edge technology.
Now, the fourth-generation Continental GT Speed represents the pinnacle of this evolution, combining record-breaking performance with advanced hybrid technology, solidifying Bentley’s commitment to innovation and sustainable luxury.
