Chevrolet has unveiled the Blazer EV.R NASCAR prototype, offering a glimpse into the future of electrified motorsport.
Developed by GM’s design team—Marc Mainville, Sam Zhao, and Adam Riccobelli—the prototype is based on NASCAR’s next-gen EV chassis and represents a fusion of high-performance design and racing technology.
The team initially created an unrestricted design vision prototype, featuring a lower, wider stance, aerodynamic enhancements, and real LED lighting.

While the final Blazer EV.R follows NASCAR’s stricter regulations, it retains key elements of the vision model, showcasing the performance essence of the Blazer EV SS.
Collaboration with NASCAR played a crucial role in shaping the control chassis for the 1,300-horsepower EV.R, balancing aesthetic design with aerodynamic efficiency.

Digital tools streamlined the process, allowing quick refinements to optimize performance without sacrificing style.
Fans can see both the Blazer EV.R and its vision concept at Daytona International Speedway during the 67th running of the DAYTONA 500 this weekend.
