At Auto Guangzhou 2024, Audi is unveiling three major premieres tailored specifically for the Chinese market, highlighting its commitment to local innovation and its two-partner strategy with FAW and SAIC.
Key debuts include the Audi Q6L e-tron, the first locally produced vehicle on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), and the Audi A5L, successor to the A4L, both showcased at the FAW stand. Meanwhile, SAIC will present the AUDI E concept, a groundbreaking electric vehicle designed for tech-savvy Chinese consumers.

The Audi Q6L e-tron, set for market launch in December, features a longer wheelbase and China-specific design elements, offering a digital and spacious interior tailored to local tastes. Produced at the new Audi FAW NEV facility in Changchun, this model reflects Audi’s strategy to meet China’s growing demand for electric vehicles.
The Audi A5L, built on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), introduces a fresh naming system to distinguish ICE models from EVs. Its extended wheelbase enhances interior space, while innovative features like illuminated door mirrors and advanced displays add a modern touch.
At the SAIC stand, the AUDI E concept will make its public debut. This close-to-production Sportback offers dual electric motors delivering 570 kW, quattro all-wheel drive, and advanced digital integration from Audi and SAIC.

As China’s largest premium car market and a hub for rapid electrification, the region is pivotal to Audi’s strategy.
