The Audi Q6 e-tron has earned the prestigious “five stars” rating from Euro NCAP, a leading European consumer protection organization that evaluates vehicle safety.
This top rating was awarded after the car achieved outstanding results in all tested categories, which include “protection of adult occupants,” “child safety,” “protection of vulnerable road users,” and “assistance systems available as standard.”
In the “protection of adult occupants” category, the Audi Q6 e-tron received an impressive score of 91 percent, providing near-perfect safety for passengers.

For the first time in an Audi model, “post-crash functions” were assessed, and the Q6 e-tron performed exceptionally well, with features like e-call and detailed rescue data for emergency services contributing to its high score.
In child safety, the Audi Q6 e-tron leads the pack, earning a “Best in Class” rating with 92 percent, the highest among all vehicles tested in 2023 and 2024.
Its standout features include three “i-Size” compatible seats (two in the rear and one in the front), ensuring easy and safe installation of child seats. The car’s automatic front passenger airbag deactivation for rear-facing child seats further enhances child protection.
Audi’s commitment to safety is highlighted by their team of 220 experts, who conduct over 1,000 crash tests and 20,000 virtual accident simulations annually, constantly refining vehicle safety technologies.
These NCAP results apply to both the Audi Q6 SUV e-tron and the upcoming Sportback variant, set to debut at the 2024 Paris Motor Show on October 14.
