With improved cell chemistry, the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes at a fast-charging station. Additionally, the vehicle can gain up to 125 kilometers of range (130 kilometers for the Sportback) in just ten minutes. The maximum DC charging power is 145 kW. The Q4 35 e-tron boasts a combined power consumption of 19.2-17.0 kWh/100 km (WLTP) and produces zero CO2 emissions, achieving a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 9.0 seconds and a top speed of 160 km/h. Propulsion is provided by a 125 kW (170 hp) permanently excited synchronous machine (PSM) on the rear axle, featuring sophisticated thermal management for optimal energy efficiency.

In urban settings, the Q4 35 e-tron and other variants will include the Audi Application Store in their Multi-Media Interface (MMI) from July. This store offers a wide array of apps, from news and podcasts to sports, games, and entertainment, without requiring a smartphone. Audi provides a 25 GB data package for one year at no extra cost, activated via Cubic Telecom. This connection utilizes the vehicle’s external aerial, enhancing reception quality and conserving smartphone battery life.

Drivers can control infotainment, navigation, and climate systems, as well as ask everyday questions, making driving safer by allowing them to keep their focus on the road. This feature is provided via Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service, based on the Chat Pro solution from Cerence Inc. with automotive-grade ChatGPT integration.
