Lamborghini’s new hybrid supercar, the Temerario, has made a dramatic debut with factory driver Andrea Caldarelli pushing it to its limits at the Misano Adriatico circuit.
Featured in a high-octane video titled “The Red Zone”, Caldarelli demonstrates the extreme capabilities of the only production supercar that can hit 10,000 rpm, highlighting both its raw performance and the physical demands of endurance racing.

Powered by a newly developed 920 CV hybrid system, the Temerario pairs a twin-turbo V8 with three electric motors, delivering blistering acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, and topping out at 343 km/h.

Key motorsport-inspired features—like a flat-plane crankshaft for even firing and sound balance, titanium connecting rods for reduced mass, and DLC-coated finger followers for high-speed durability—enable the car’s track-level revving potential.
Caldarelli praised the driving dynamics, calling the Temerario “incredible” and describing the V8’s high-revving nature as a “race car experience” with its aggressive sound and relentless power climb.

Two new features—Launch Control and Drift Mode—make their debut on the Temerario, further boosting its fun-to-drive character. Launch Control is activated via a checkered flag button on the steering wheel, unleashing full power from a standstill.

Drift Mode, adjustable across three levels, allows controlled oversteer ranging from beginner-friendly to full expert mode with wide yaw angles.
Though not yet available for sale and still in the type approval stage, the Temerario signals the next evolution in Lamborghini’s high-performance hybrid strategy.
