Lewis Hamilton, the most successful Formula 1® driver of all time, is being honored at the Mercedes-Benz Museum with a special presentation showcasing his legendary career.
Until January 6, 2025, six of his World Championship-winning cars will be on display in the Great Hall, with free entry to this section. A seventh car, his 2020 title-winning Mercedes-AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance, remains a highlight in the permanent Legends Room 7: Silver Arrows – Races and Records.

- 2008: McLaren-Mercedes MP4-23
- 2014: Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 W05
- 2015: Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 W06 Hybrid
- 2017: Mercedes-AMG F1 W08 EQ Power+
- 2018: Mercedes-AMG F1 W09 EQ Power+
- 2019: Mercedes-AMG F1 W10 EQ Power+
- 2020: Mercedes-AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance (in Legends Room 7)
The farewell presentation follows Hamilton’s final race with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS, marking the end of an extraordinary partnership that saw him win seven titles—one with McLaren-Mercedes in 2008 and six with the Silver Arrows.
Lewis Hamilton himself was the first guest at the exhibition, attending a private farewell event hosted by Ola Källenius, Chairman of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. The gathering celebrated Hamilton’s unparalleled achievements, as well as his commitment to fairness, diversity, and inclusion both on and off the track.
During his visit, Hamilton also explored the newly installed “Pit Stop” hands-on station in Legends Room 7, where visitors can test their skills against the record-breaking pit stop time of 1.8 seconds. Adding a personal touch to the experience, Hamilton left his signature, cementing his legacy for fans and visitors alike.
This exhibition not only honors Hamilton’s extraordinary racing career but also highlights his significant impact on motorsport and the Mercedes-Benz brand.
