Stage 3 of the 1000 Miglia, famously known as “the most beautiful race in the world,” took place yesterday, culminating in the historic city of Rome. The race began at the stunning seafront of Viareggio, capturing the excitement of both locals and tourists.
The convoy ventured inland from Viareggio, traversing picturesque towns such as Lucca, Pontedera, Rosignano Marittimo, Bibbona, and Castagneto Carducci.
The racers then reached the charming Castiglione della Pescaia, renowned for its captivating blend of sea, nature, and history.

In the afternoon, the race entered the Lazio region via Marta, a quaint fishing village on the southern shores of Lake Bolsena, Europe’s largest volcanic lake.
The convoy then passed through Ronciglione, celebrated for its Carnival and recently crowned the most beautiful village in Italy.
Finally, the racers arrived in Rome, greeted by the jubilant crowds on Via Veneto. The scene was reminiscent of the 1950s paparazzi era, with Alfa Romeo cars capturing the attention and camera flashes of enthusiasts, echoing the glamour of the Dolce Vita.
