The Alfa Romeo Tonale has been honored with Chile’s “Best Design 2025” award, recognized for its blend of Italian heritage, modern elegance, and innovative design.
Assessed on aesthetics, functionality, and originality, the award was decided by a jury of design and architecture experts, including architect Ignacio Gana, bioclimatic specialist Víctor Villalobos, and industrial designer Germán Espinoza.

The jury praised the Tonale’s balanced proportions, aerodynamic efficiency, and timeless styling, which reinterpret classic Alfa Romeo design cues. Highlights include its signature “Scudetto” shield grille, 3+3 LED headlights inspired by the SZ Zagato, and sculpted lines reminiscent of the Giulia GT and 8C Competizione.
Inside, the driver-focused cockpit and premium materials reflect Alfa Romeo’s racing heritage while integrating the latest technology for a refined yet sporty experience.
Designed at Alfa Romeo Centro Stile in Turin, the Tonale continues to be a global style icon, proving that its distinctive “Made in Italy” essence resonates with enthusiasts worldwide.
