The newly launched Alfa Romeo Junior has already secured its first design accolade, winning the Design Trophy for the best design in the “Small Cars/City Cars/Compacts” category.
The award, presented by German magazine AUTO ZEITUNG, is based on a reader survey and recognizes the standout design of Alfa Romeo’s latest compact sports car, which outshone 63 competing models.

The Alfa Romeo Junior encapsulates the brand’s design philosophy, blending compact dimensions with a modern Made in Italy aesthetic. Crafted by the Alfa Romeo Centro Stile, the Junior’s design emphasizes balanced proportions, sleek lines, and meticulous surface quality, showcasing a blend of artisanal care and innovation.
The car’s design draws on the brand’s heritage, featuring elements like the iconic “Coda Tronca,” reminiscent of the legendary Giulia TZ, which enhances aerodynamics for improved performance.
Distinctive features of the Junior include its bold front design with “3+3” lights and adaptive Full Led Matrix headlights, as well as the iconic Alfa Romeo shield, available in two variants: Leggenda and Progresso.
Inside, the Junior offers a refined, sporty environment with high-quality upholstery and an attention to detail that highlights its Italian craftsmanship.
