The dynamic development of the Junior VELOCE has been meticulously fine-tuned by Alfa Romeo’s expert engineering team, ensuring that the electric motor’s output of 280 hp aligns with the performance standards of the Giulia, Stelvio, and Tonale VELOCE models. This new motor debuts in the compact sports car, marking it as the sportiest model in the line-up.

Designed with a focus on performance, road handling, and driving pleasure, the Junior VELOCE features:

  • Ad-hoc steering calibration for segment-leading directness (14.6) and precision.
  • Sports suspension lowered by 25 mm.
  • Extra sporty front and rear anti-roll bars for superior cornering grip.
  • A high-performance braking system with front discs over 380 mm and four-piston monobloc calipers.
  • A Torsen differential for optimal traction in all conditions.
  • High-performance 20” tires specific to electric vehicles, offering extensive grip.

Exclusive Testing at Balocco Proving Ground

The Alfa Romeo Junior VELOCE will be tested on the renowned “Langhe” circuit at the Balocco Proving Ground, an exclusive event reserved for the international trade press ahead of the type-approval phase. This 20-km circuit, usually inaccessible to external drivers, has been integral to the development of Alfa Romeo road cars and racing models for decades.

The same track that witnessed the fine-tuning of historic Alfa Corse racing cars will now host the Junior VELOCE, ensuring its performance meets Alfa Romeo’s high standards.

With its new electric motor and design enhancements, the Alfa Romeo Junior VELOCE promises pure, recognizable Alfa Romeo sportiness. This compact car embodies the brand’s commitment to best-in-class handling and driving dynamics, underpinned by the expertise of the team behind some of Alfa Romeo’s most revered models.
