The Abarth 500e has been voted the Best Mini Car in Germany by readers of Auto Motor und Sport, securing 23.6% of the votes in the magazine’s prestigious Best Cars awards.
This marks the ninth time Abarth has been honored by the publication and the first win for its all-electric model.
Competing against both electric and combustion-engine rivals, the Abarth 500e’s victory underscores the brand’s strong presence in the German market and its appeal among performance car enthusiasts.

The award highlights Abarth’s success in combining electrification with the brand’s signature sportiness, ensuring that its hot hatches remain as engaging as ever.
Powered by a 42-kWh battery and a 113 kW (155 hp) electric motor, the Abarth 500e accelerates from 0 to 100 kph in just 7.0 seconds.
With improved weight distribution, instant torque, and a wider wheelbase, the car delivers a thrilling driving experience while embracing the shift to electromobility.
The award ceremony will take place in May during the Hamburg Harbour Birthday celebrations. Abarth has recently expanded its EV lineup with the introduction of the Abarth 600e, developed with Stellantis Motorsport to push the boundaries of electric performance in urban sports cars.
