Honda is intensifying its commitment to traffic safety with a goal to eliminate fatalities in collisions involving its vehicles by 2050. This ambitious target covers both new models and older vehicles still on the road, highlighting Honda’s holistic “Safety For Everyone” approach.

In addition to its advanced safety technologies, Honda is focusing on improving driver awareness and behavior by collaborating with government, industry, and community partners to create a safer driving ecosystem.

As part of this initiative, Honda has launched the “Honda Safety Driven” educational platform, which includes a new STEM-focused crash test video game called “Crash Course” and a digital lesson bundle for pedestrian safety.

These resources aim to teach students about road safety through engaging, interactive content. Honda has also rolled out the Honda Driver Coaching app, designed to help new drivers improve their skills with real-time analysis and personalized feedback.

Honda’s efforts extend beyond technology and education, with the Honda USA Foundation providing over $6 million in funding since 2021 to support traffic safety programs in local communities. New applications for funding are open until October 2024.

Additionally, Honda continues to lead in motorcycle rider education, with training programs that serve thousands of riders annually. The company’s comprehensive approach, from product innovation to community involvement, underscores its dedication to achieving a safer road environment for all.
