Toyota and Revel offer free DC fast charging for Toyota bZ4X and Lexus RZ drivers in NYC, enhancing convenience with access to Revel’s fast-growing public charging network until 2027.

Toyota Motor North America and Revel have announced an agreement to offer complimentary access to Revel’s DC fast charging network in New York City for Toyota and Lexus BEV (battery electric vehicle) customers.

This perk will last for about three years, until October 14, 2027, and aims to make charging more convenient for those driving the Toyota bZ4X and Lexus RZ models.

Revel operates the city’s largest public fast charging network, with four 24/7 stations featuring both NACS and CCS plug types.

Christopher Yang, Toyota’s group vice president for EV Charging Solutions, emphasized that seamless charging is key to customer satisfaction, and this partnership aligns with Toyota’s commitment to sustainable mobility.

Revel, supported by Toyota Ventures since 2019, is rapidly expanding its network and aims to increase the adoption of electric vehicles by enhancing the charging experience.

Revel’s CEO, Frank Reig, expressed pride in the partnership, noting that this initiative will make it easier for Toyota and Lexus drivers to charge quickly and at no cost.

Revel currently operates 64 fast charging stalls in NYC, with plans to expand to 300 stalls over the next year, including major new stations in Queens and near LaGuardia Airport. The company is also expanding into California, with new sites planned for the Bay Area and Los Angeles.
