The BMW Group has completed over 10 million Remote Software Upgrades, enhancing vehicle performance, safety, and features via over-the-air updates.

Launched five years ago, this service now covers all BMW brands, including MINI and Rolls-Royce, with the latest updates available for vehicles running BMW Operating System 9.

Christoph Grote, BMW’s Senior VP of Electronics and Software, emphasized the milestone’s significance, highlighting BMW’s ability to update more than nine million vehicles globally.

These upgrades have introduced new features like Silent Mode and Curve Ahead View, improving comfort and safety without the need for workshop visits.

With over 22 million connected vehicles, BMW continues to lead in vehicle connectivity, offering innovations like “Max Range” for electric cars and charging-optimized route planning.
