The Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid wins Green Car Journal’s Family Green Car of the Year Award for the third year in a row, recognized for its eco-friendly performance and versatility.

Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) proudly announces that the Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) has earned Green Car Journal’s 2025 Family Green Car of the Year award for the third year in a row, making it the first vehicle to achieve this milestone in the award’s history.

As the world’s first and best-selling plug-in hybrid electric SUV with all-wheel drive, the Outlander PHEV offers a combination of electrification, performance, and versatility.

It provides a 38-mile all-electric range and up to 420 miles of total driving range, appealing to eco-conscious families seeking sustainability without compromising convenience.
