The Lexus NX has surpassed 1.5 million global sales since its 2014 launch, with over 545,000 hybrids or plug-in hybrids sold, reflecting its strong impact in the premium SUV market.

The Lexus NX has been a remarkable success over the past decade, with more than 1.5 million units sold worldwide since its launch in 2014.

This makes it the third most popular model in Lexus’ history, behind the RX (3.9 million units sold) and the ES sedan, which recently surpassed 3 million sales.

Notably, 545,000 of these NX vehicles are hybrids or plug-in hybrids, reflecting a growing shift toward electrification.

The NX was Lexus’ entry into the highly competitive premium SUV market and has maintained strong sales since its introduction. Its striking design, featuring the brand’s signature grille and L-shaped lights, along with a variety of powertrains, made it a popular choice globally.

The first generation featured an innovative hybrid, and with the second generation, Lexus expanded its electrified lineup. The NX 350 h offers 243 horsepower as a hybrid, while the plug-in hybrid NX 450 h+ delivers 309 horsepower and can travel up to 98 km in electric mode.

By June, electrified versions of the NX accounted for one-third of global sales, with 492,309 hybrid units and 51,493 plug-in hybrids sold. Since the launch of the second-generation NX, more hybrids and plug-ins have been sold than combustion engine variants.

In Poland, the NX has become the top choice for Lexus buyers. Since its debut, 20,992 units have been sold, with 15,946 being hybrids or plug-ins. The NX is currently available in Poland in two hybrid versions (NX 350 h and NX 450 h+) and six trim levels, including Elegance, Business, and F SPORT.
