In August 2024, NIO delivered 20,176 vehicles, marking the fourth consecutive month exceeding 20,000 deliveries.
This included 11,923 premium electric SUVs and 8,253 electric sedans. Year-to-date, NIO has delivered 128,100 vehicles, a 35.8% increase from the previous year, with total cumulative deliveries reaching 577,694.
NIO expanded globally, opening two new NIO Houses and adding 43 Power Swap Stations and 44 charging stations in August. The company now operates 161 NIO Houses and 2,552 Power Swap Stations worldwide.

NIO’s charging network includes 3,989 Power Charger Stations and over 1.6 million third-party chargers. The brand has facilitated over 51 million power swaps globally and launched 78 Power Journeys in China and two in Europe.
On August 20, NIO hosted the Power UP 2024 event in Wuhan, introducing the “Power Up Counties” and “Power Up Partner” plans to expand its charging and swapping networks across China. The company also announced plans to establish a new headquarters and factory in Wuhan with the capacity to build over 1,000 Power Swap Stations.
NIO released its latest software update, Banyan 3.0.0, on August 28, introducing new AI-powered features and system optimizations. Additionally, NIO continued its winning streak in the J.D.
Power awards, securing top honors in multiple segments for the sixth consecutive year. The brand also achieved the highest score in J.D. Power’s 2024 China New Energy Vehicle Customer Experience Value Index.
NIO was named the official car brand of the 7th China International Import Expo, with the ET7 selected as the official vehicle. On August 15, NIO’s first mass-produced ONVO L60 rolled off the line at its Hefei factory, undergoing a rigorous 20,000 km test.
