GLS, a leading global shipping company, has successfully completed a 30,000-kilometer evaluation of the Hyundai Xcient hydrogen fuel cell truck, equipped with an Allison 4000 Series™ fully automatic transmission, in Germany.

Since late 2023, the truck has delivered over 100,000 packages in the Cologne area and has been used for long-distance trips between Cologne and Mannheim since March 2024. This trial marks a significant step for GLS in exploring environmentally friendly propulsion technologies in everyday logistics.
