Mercedes-Benz has partnered with Boosteroid, the world’s largest independent cloud gaming provider, to enhance in-car entertainment.

Starting next year, the Boosteroid app will be included in the MBUX Entertainment Package Plus for vehicles equipped with the third-generation MBUX infotainment system, allowing drivers and passengers to enjoy immersive gaming experiences.

At gamescom, from August 21-25, visitors can test this new feature in a Mercedes-Benz E-Class at the SK Gaming booth (hall 09.1, booth A029). Magnus Östberg,

Boosteroid offers access to over 1,000 games from platforms like Steam and Epic Games, and starting in 2025, the app will be available in Europe and the Americas.

With a subscription, users can play games on various devices, including their vehicles’ infotainment systems, though only when parked. Visitors at gamescom can also preview the upcoming Need for Speed™ Mobile game, set to debut in Mercedes-Benz vehicles in China.
