In the first half of 2024, FIAT solidified its position as the top Stellantis brand by sales, with more than 660,200 units sold globally, marking a 2.2% increase from last year. The brand experienced significant regional growth: 24% in North America, 7.6% in the Middle East and Africa, 5% in Asia-Pacific, and 2.3% in South America, where it leads with a 14% market share.

Europe remains FIAT’s largest market, maintaining stable volumes. The brand holds leading positions in Brazil (20.4% market share), Italy and Turkey (12.3% each), and Algeria (68.3%). Top-selling models include the Fiat Panda in Italy, Fiat Tipo in Turkey, and Fiat Doblò in Algeria.

FIAT Professional saw a global 15% growth in the Commercial Vehicles segment, with notable increases of 69% in Asia-Pacific, 54% in the Middle East and Africa, and 10% in South America.

FIAT Leads Stellantis with Strong First-Half 2024 Sales.

Celebrating its 125th anniversary, FIAT achieved a 2.2% sales increase compared to the same period last year. The brand’s future looks promising with upcoming models like the Fiat Grande Panda, Abarth 600e, and Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani. FIAT is also planning the release of the Fiat 500 Ibrida (hybrid) and new SUV and fastback models.

In Europe, FIAT is shifting to fully electrified vehicles to remain environmentally friendly and ensure future market value. The new models, including the 600, 500, and Grande Panda, will feature BEV or hybrid powertrains with automatic transmission.

FIAT’s sales results highlight impressive increases across multiple regions. In North America, the brand achieved a 24% increase, driven by the initial deliveries of the Fiat 500e. The brand also opened FIAT House in Fort Lee, New Jersey, offering urban living with over 300 rental residences.

The MEA region saw a 7.6% rise in sales, while Asia-Pacific grew by 5%, and South America experienced a 2.3% increase. FIAT dominates the market in Brazil with a 20.4% share and leads in Italy, Turkey, and Algeria. The Fiat Panda, Tipo, and Doblò are top sellers in their respective markets.

In Europe, FIAT’s strong performance continues, particularly in Italy, with a 2% sales increase. The Fiat Panda remains the best-selling vehicle in Italy, and the Fiat 500 hybrid and 500e lead their segments. FIAT also excels in other European markets, such as Spain, France, the Netherlands, and Portugal.

In South America, FIAT holds a 14% market share, with exceptional results in Brazil. The brand leads in the hatchback, pickup, and van segments. The introduction of the Titano pickup truck has further strengthened FIAT’s position in Brazil.

In the MEA region, FIAT commands impressive market shares in Algeria and Turkey. In Morocco, the brand saw a 23% sales increase.

FIAT Professional’s commercial vehicle segment grew by 15%, with strong performances in Europe, South America, MEA, and APAC regions. The new Ducato, Doblò, and Scudo line-up in Europe feature improved technology and battery electric vehicles. The launch of the Fiat Titano pickup in Brazil and Algeria has also been successful.

FIAT’s robust sales performance across diverse global markets highlights its growing influence and success.
