Honda today announced that its flagship concept model, the Saloon from the Honda 0 Series, has been honored with the prestigious ‘Red Dot: Best of the Best 2024’ award. Additionally, the Space-Hub, another concept from the Honda 0 Series, also won a Red Dot award in the same Design Concept competition.
The Honda 0 Series, representing the company’s major shift under the redefined Global Brand Slogan “The Power of Dreams” and its approach to electrification, debuted at CES 2024 in the U.S. The Saloon stands out as the flagship model, showcasing Honda’s new EV development philosophy: Thin, Light, and Wise, aimed at creating new value for electric vehicles.

Key Design Features
The Saloon boasts a one-motion form, characterized by a sleek line rising smoothly from front to rear, and a low and wide design that conveys dynamism and elegance. Its exterior features expansive side panels with upright side glass and tires accentuated by narrowing shapes towards the side sills.
Inside, the Saloon offers a simple and intuitive human-machine interface (HMI) that ensures a sophisticated user experience. The low height and sporty styling provide a spacious interior that defies initial expectations based on the exterior.
The Space-Hub concept represents Honda’s M/M concept and the potential of EVs as versatile spaces for people. It emphasizes a spacious cabin and excellent visibility, offering flexibility and connectivity, aligning with Honda’s “Thin, Light, and Wise” approach. The exterior design of the Space-Hub features bold and pure proportions, evoking fresh perspectives, while the interior maintains a simple HMI and a large cabin space for comfort and freedom.
