Automobili Lamborghini has hit new heights in the first half of 2024, with record-breaking results in car deliveries, revenue, and operating income. This success is driven by the strong performance of its three flagship models: the Revuelto, Urus, and Huracán, all produced at the Sant’Agata Bolognese plant. The company delivered 5,558 vehicles, generating €1,621 million in revenue, marking a 14.1% increase compared to the same period in 2023. Additionally, the operating profit soared to an unprecedented €458 million.

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, expressed immense pride in these achievements. He highlighted that the company is undergoing a transformative phase, fueled by the largest investment in Lamborghini’s history. This investment aims to expand their product lineup, a move that, while resource-intensive, is crucial for sustaining growth and maintaining Lamborghini’s leadership in the luxury super sports car market.

The company’s profitability also reached a notable 28.2%, reflecting the effectiveness of its strategic initiatives and a well-balanced approach to deliveries and financial metrics. Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO, emphasized the consolidation of Lamborghini’s growth trajectory. He pointed to a positive trend and robust order bank that support confidence in continued growth, even amid a transition to hybrid models, underscoring the brand’s strength in the luxury and super sports segments.

The distribution of deliveries remained balanced across key regions, with EMEA, Americas, and APAC receiving 2,498, 1,849, and 1,211 cars, respectively. The United States led the individual markets with 1,621 cars delivered, followed by Germany (595), the United Kingdom (514), Japan (354), the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao (337), and Italy (268).

Lamborghini’s order bank remains strong, with a wait time of over two years for the Revuelto. The Huracán’s orders cover its entire production run until the anticipated line closure in December, and the recently unveiled Urus SE has already secured orders for about a year’s production.

These impressive results highlight the effectiveness of Lamborghini’s Direzione Cor Tauri program, which underscores the company’s commitment to continuous decarbonization. This year, 2024, marks a critical phase in this program. Another significant milestone is on the horizon with the unveiling of the Huracán’s successor on August 16 at Monterey Car Week.
