A classic Ferrari used by F1 driver, Charles Leclerc, is for sale for £1million.

The maroon, 174mph vintage 250 GT Cabriolet Series II was one of only 200 ever made.

It has had five owners since it was made in 1961.

But it was in the same family for 40 years up until 2013.

The stylish motor was the 148th off the production line when the model was made.

It was most famous for being used to drive Leclerc around, at last September’s Italian Grand Prix.

The 26-year-old driver came fourth in the race at Monza that was won by Max Verstappen.

He was in the motor in the Driver’s Parade at the race.

The Ferrari is being sold in a private auction by RM Sotheby’s in Milan, Italy, as reported on Luxury Auto News.

A Sotheby’s spokesperson said: “Most notably, it was used in the Driver’s Parade of the 2023 Italian Grand Prix, chauffeuring Ferrari’s own Charles Leclerc around the circuit for fans to catch a glimpse of their favourite driver at Ferrari’s home race.
