Mazda North American Operations has announced the pricing and packaging details for the 2025 CX-5, promising a blend of refined styling, dynamic driving, and serene interiors. The 2025 CX-5, arriving in dealerships nationwide this summer, retains standard all-wheel drive across all models, enhancing customer value with several updates.
CX-5 2.5 S
The base model features a Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with cylinder deactivation, offering 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. This engine provides up to 26 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 28 mpg combined. Standard features include a six-speed automatic transmission, G-Vectoring Control Plus, Mazda Connected Services, a 10.25″ full-color center display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and various safety and driver assistance features. Exterior highlights include LED headlights, a rear roof spoiler, and 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.

CX-5 2.5 S Select
Building on the base model, the 2.5 S Select adds auto-leveling headlights, rear privacy glass, and body-colored trim. Inside, it features a six-way power driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, and additional rear USB-A charging ports.
CX-5 2.5 S Preferred
The Preferred model introduces a power sliding-glass moonroof, a power rear liftgate, leather seats with power adjustability, memory settings for the driver’s seat, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink.
CX-5 2.5 S Carbon Edition
The Carbon Edition stands out with exclusive Polymetal Gray paint, black leather or red leather interior, 19-inch black metallic wheels, and a Bose Premium Audio system. New for 2025, it includes wireless phone charging and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
CX-5 2.5 S Premium Plus
This model features Mazda Intelligent Drive Select (Mi-Drive) with Normal, Off-Road, and Sport modes, a 360-view monitor, front and rear parking sensors, a windshield-projected Active Driving Display, and heated and ventilated front seats.
CX-5 2.5 Carbon Turbo
The Carbon Turbo model boasts a 256-horsepower Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine, available in Zircon Sand Metallic or Rhodium White with black accents. It includes terracotta leather-trimmed seats, wireless phone charging, and a 360-view monitor.
CX-5 2.5 Turbo Premium
This variant includes Traffic Jam Assist, heated rear seats, automatic power-folding mirrors, and a windshield wiper de-icer. Design updates feature a gloss black grille and red stitching on the steering wheel and gear selector.
CX-5 2.5 Turbo Signature
The top-tier model combines premium style and performance with 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels, Caturra Brown Nappa leather, genuine woodgrain, LED interior lighting, and an Off-Road Navigation system. It also offers advanced safety features like Smart City Brake Support Reverse and Driver Attention Alert.
