Sir Rod Stewart’s old classic Lamborghini has sold for £550,000 at auction.
The rare Countach LP400 Periscopio was owned and loved by the singer, being a staple of his car collection.
The 79-year-old had it for over 25 years with the motor now on its way to a new home.

The 183mph model was iconic in the 80s.
The Maggie May singer originally bought the supercar at auction in 1977 whilst on tour in Australia.
It was then shipped to his home in Los Angeles, California, US.
Under his ownership, the car was kitted out with new front and rear spoilers, a wide-body kit, and a revised roof with removable panels.
Lamborghini joined the singer when he moved back to England, with the pair separating in 2002, as reported by Luxury Auto News.
Originally the car was a right-hand drive vehicle, but the owner who followed the rock star converted it to a left-hand drive.
The car is powered by a 3.9-litre quad-cam V12 engine that is equipped with a twin-distributor ignition and six Weber carburettors.
The vehicle was under auction at Bring a Trailer before being bought for £550,000 on 11 July.
It took place in Los Angeles, California, US.
A spokesperson said: “This 1977 Lamborghini Countach LP400 is one of approximately 150 Periscopio examples manufactured during the first four years of the Countach model’s production.
“It left the factory in right-hand-drive configuration and was purchased new by best-selling British pop musician Sir Rod Stewart while on tour in Australia.
“The car later moved with Stewart to Los Angeles, where it was modified with a wide-body kit and a targa-style roof panel before being relocated to the UK and remaining in Stewart’s private collection until 2002.”
