Opel Launches Affordable Frontera Electric and Hybrid SUVs

Opel has announced the opening of order books for its newly unveiled Frontera Electric and Frontera Hybrid SUVs, following their recent debut in Istanbul, Turkey. Priced competitively, the five-seater Frontera Electric starts at €28,990, while the Frontera Hybrid begins at €23,900. Both models offer a seven-seater option, enhancing their appeal as family-friendly vehicles.

Opel CEO Florian Huettl emphasized the company’s commitment to making electromobility accessible, stating, “Our new Frontera offers great packaging and value for money. The rugged interpretation of our bold and pure design philosophy combined with the highly competitive prices for the all-electric or electrified version will delight customers.”

• Electrified Mobility: The Frontera Electric offers a starting price of €28,990 and boasts up to 1,594 liters of luggage space. The hybrid model, available from €23,900, includes a 1.2-liter turbo engine paired with a 21 kW electric motor, significantly reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
• Design and Comfort: The Frontera’s design features the new Opel Blitz emblem, prominent wheel arches, and a modern interior with optional 10-inch widescreens. It also includes the Intelli-Seat for enhanced comfort and a versatile rear bench with a 60:40 split.
• Drivetrain Options: Customers can choose between the hybrid with 48-volt technology or the fully electric model. The Frontera Electric offers a range of up to 305 kilometers, with a “Long Range” version capable of around 400 kilometers.
