Ferrari Unveils New Extended Warranty Programs: Warranty Extension Hybrid and Power Hybrid

Ferrari introduces two new extended warranty programs for PHEV models, including high-voltage battery replacements at the 8th and 16th years, enhancing after-sales support.

Ferrari has unveiled two new extended warranty services specifically for its plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models, a pioneering move in the automotive industry. These services include the scheduled replacement of the high-voltage battery (HVB) at both the 8th and 16th year marks, reinforcing Ferrari’s reputation for exceptional after-sales support.

Effective July 1, 2024, Ferrari’s new warranty programmes are available for the SF90 Stradale, SF90 Spider, SF90 XX Stradale, SF90 XX Spider, 296 GTB, and 296 GTS. The initiatives, named Warranty Extension Hybrid and Power Hybrid, cater to owners who wish to maintain the superior performance of their hybrid Ferraris over time. These warranties, renewable in two to four-year packages, can be activated at any official Ferrari dealership, regardless of the car’s age or whether it is currently under the factory warranty.

Ferrari PHEV owners already benefit from a five-year warranty on hybrid components. By opting for the Warranty Extension Hybrid programme, they can enjoy a comprehensive, factory-backed extended warranty that encompasses the entire vehicle. If the warranty is extended to the eighth year, Ferrari will replace the high-voltage battery pack at no extra cost.

The Power Hybrid programme extends the factory warranty on all major powertrain components, including those related to the hybrid system, from the 8th to the 16th year. This programme also includes a no-cost replacement of the HVB at the 16th year mark. Both programmes ensure that any replacement HVB will feature the latest advancements in battery technology, maintaining the vehicle’s original performance standards.

Additionally, these extended warranty programmes are transferable to subsequent owners, enhancing the vehicle’s value and providing ongoing peace of mind to Ferrari clients.

With these new services, Ferrari continues to demonstrate its commitment to customer satisfaction and solidifies its leadership in the realm of after-sales support.
