Abarth’s all-electric 500e has claimed the title of “Best Mini Car” in Auto Motor und Sport’s 2025 Best Cars awards, marking a major milestone for the brand’s electric journey.
The accolade was determined by readers of the esteemed German auto publication, with the 500e earning 23.6% of the vote and outperforming its global competitors.

This win is Abarth’s ninth recognition from the magazine but the first for its new BEV lineup—an important endorsement of the brand’s bold shift to electrification while maintaining its signature performance-driven identity.
The award was presented in Hamburg during the city’s Harbour Birthday celebrations, with Abarth Manager Francesco Morosini accepting the honor on behalf of the brand.
