The Momentum 2030 plan commits to introducing either a new or fully redesigned vehicle every year from 2026 through 2030, a cadence already initiated with the unveiling of the 2025 Outlander SUV.
Mitsubishi’s upcoming lineup will span internal combustion engines, plug-in hybrids, and full battery electrics, giving customers a wide range of technology choices.
CEO Mark Chaffin emphasized that this initiative marks more than just a product shift—it’s a transformative effort aimed at modernizing the brand, expanding its lineup, refreshing its retail strategy, and boosting its dealer network.
The BEV announcement is a clear signal that Mitsubishi intends to become a serious player in the North American EV market while staying committed to flexibility in powertrain offerings.
