Alfa Romeo has once again proven its design prowess by taking top honors in the 2025 “Best Brands in All Categories” awards hosted by AUTO BILD and BILD Germany.
Based on the votes of roughly 40,000 readers, the iconic Italian marque secured the #1 spot in the “Design” category across three major rankings: the midsize segment, midsize SUVs, and the overall design ranking—earning the brand an impressive hat-trick of accolades.
In the midsize category, the Giulia sports sedan captured voters’ admiration, while the Stelvio SUV took the lead in the midsize SUV class.

Alfa Romeo’s expanding lineup in Germany also includes the Tonale and the newly launched Junior, both of which feature electrified powertrain options to meet evolving market demands.

Now in its 14th year, the “Best Brands in All Categories” survey by AUTO BILD and BILD assesses 40 automotive brands across a range of qualities—including design, powertrain technology, driver assistance systems, and sportiness—based on their perceived appeal and buying potential. This continued recognition cements Alfa Romeo’s legacy as one of the most admired automotive design houses in Europe.
