Since launching its plug-in hybrid offerings in 2021, Lexus has surpassed 105,000 global sales, solidifying its place in the premium electrified market with a combination of performance, efficiency, and long-range capability.
Leading this charge is the NX 450h+, which remains the most popular model, accounting for over 72,000 units sold globally, including 32,408 in Europe.
This model set the tone with its 309 hp powertrain, 18.1 kWh battery, and an electric-only range of nearly 100 km in urban driving.

In 2023, Lexus expanded its lineup with the RX 450h+, bringing the same powertrain into a larger body with a refined plug-in hybrid experience.
Despite its size, it maintains a swift 0–100 km/h time of 6.5 seconds and achieves around 70 km of electric range. To date, it has sold 32,174 units worldwide, with nearly one-third purchased in Europe.
The newest addition, the TX 550h+, launched in 2024 and offered exclusively in North America, ups the ante with a 412 hp system that combines a 3.5-liter V6 engine, CVT transmission, and DIRECT4 all-wheel drive.
While its electric range is slightly lower at 53 km, the TX 550h+ adds a three-row luxury SUV option to the plug-in lineup and has already sold 666 units.

Lexus plug-in hybrids stand out for maintaining consistent performance even after the battery is depleted. Thanks to Lexus’s extensive hybrid expertise, when the battery drops below 20%, the vehicle seamlessly switches to an efficient hybrid mode, ensuring that acceleration and driving dynamics remain virtually unchanged—a rare trait in plug-in hybrids that adds both safety and practicality.
A 5-year or 100,000 km warranty is standard for all hybrid components and batteries, with the option to extend coverage to 10 years with annual checks at authorized Lexus service centers, demonstrating the brand’s confidence in its battery reliability.

To simplify ownership, Lexus offers HomeCharge stations for efficient home charging and supports access to a vast Lexus Charging Network—including over 8,600 charging stations in Poland and more than 913,000 across Europe.
This integration is enhanced through the Lexus Link+ app, which gives users control over charging sessions and energy management.

In under four years, Lexus has successfully translated its two decades of hybrid leadership into a plug-in lineup that merges dependable efficiency with premium comfort and surprising performance—laying a strong foundation for its ongoing electrification journey.
