(Crewe, 25 April 2025) — Bentley introduces Heritage Leather for its latest models, allowing customers to specify the same historically inspired upholstery first developed by Mulliner for the Blower and Speed Six Continuation Series.
Supplied by Bridge of Weir, this leather captures the authentic look and feel of the 1930s with a distinctive two-tone finish and haircell grain, offered in period-correct colours: Ox Blood Red and Parsons Napier Green.

To showcase the new option, Bentley commissioned a fourth-generation Continental GT Mulliner finished in Bedford Grey with Ox Blood Red Heritage Leather upholstery, perfectly matching the Factory Works Speed Six Continuation car—separated by 95 years of evolution but united by shared craftsmanship.

Heritage Leather maintains Bentley’s standards for durability and sustainability, echoing the pre-war Bentleys that still proudly wear their original patinated hides today.

Created with low environmental impact processes, Bridge of Weir’s leather holds the world’s lowest published carbon footprint for automotive leather at just 8kg CO₂e/m².

Remaining faithful to vintage techniques, the Speed Six features fluted seats and simple embossed detailing, while the Continental GT Mulliner demonstrates Mulliner’s full artistry with quilting, embroidery, perforations, and piping.

The leather’s natural finish, treated with oils, waxes, and varnishes, mimics the higher sheen and subtle aging seen in historic Bentleys.

Bentley continues to work closely with suppliers to uphold strict environmental standards, ensuring that its leather remains as sustainable and enduring as the cars it adorns—celebrating over a century of craftsmanship and timeless luxury.
