Bentley Unveils Ultra-Rare Batur Convertible in Dubai
Bentley Motors has debuted the Batur Convertible, its latest coachbuilt creation, at an exclusive launch in Dubai’s Bab Al Shams.
Handcrafted by Mulliner, Bentley’s bespoke division, this stunning open-air grand tourer is the third coachbuilt model of the modern era, following the Bacalar and Batur coupe.

Only 16 units will be made, each powered by Bentley’s most powerful W12 engine ever—a 750 PS, 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged masterpiece. This engine, which ends production this summer, makes the Batur Convertible one of the final vehicles to carry Bentley’s legendary W12 legacy.

Progressive Design Meets Bespoke Craftsmanship
The show car in Dubai features Midnight Emerald paint, carbon fibre accents, and a striking grille with a Gloss Mandarin to Gloss Beluga fade.
A signature Batur Racing Stripe in Gloss Porpoise, complemented by Mandarin stripes, ties directly into the cabin’s custom leather finishes.

Inside, a blend of Cumbrian Green and Porpoise leathers, Mandarin accents, and titanium detailing creates a refined and modern cockpit. Highlights include a Mulliner-exclusive “guitar fade” veneer and a laser-etched audio signature commemorating the W12.

Custom-Built for Each Owner
Each Batur Convertible will be individually co-created using Mulliner’s advanced commissioning process. Owners can customise nearly every detail—from bespoke paintwork to 3D-printed rose gold elements, including the Drive Mode Selector and Organ Stop vents.

Bentley has partnered with goldsmiths from Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter to craft these unique components, blending old-world craftsmanship with cutting-edge design.

A Fitting Farewell to an Icon
Built in Crewe, England, every Batur Convertible will take months to complete by hand. It marks a celebration of Bentley’s W12 engine, whose final evolution boasts 750 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque, a 40% increase in power and 25% better fuel economy than its original form.
The Batur Convertible isn’t just a luxury car—it’s an ultra-rare statement of performance, design, and personalisation, offering collectors a final opportunity to own one of Bentley’s most potent creations.
